THE PROJECT
From April to August 2023 Sirio carried out numerous activities on board the Crystal Serenity and the Crystal Symphony during the two ships' stay at the Fincantieri shipyard in Trieste.
Thanks to our presence in the area we have managed to manage more than 200 technicians in the various activities, from decorative painting such as mother-of-pearl finishing and real silver leaf to the simpler ones of the ceilings in the corridors and common areas, supply and installation of tiles and marble, maintenance of the real teak in the external corridors and in the pool area including the re-caulking with the Sika 290DC Pro, the painting of the swimming pools and the related resin floors in the beach area, the new mosaic of the Jacuzzi, the total renovation of the crew bar and one crew gym as well as the creation of a new crew gym by demolishing six existing cabins, the total conversion of the Casino into a Bridge Lounge, installation of carpet and supply and installation of vinyl, polishing of the life boats, total refurbishment of the embarkation area of both ships and various other interventions. All with success and customer satisfaction, respecting the times and specifications received and creating a collaboration with the customer in finding the best solutions from a technical, aesthetic and economic point of view.
The fact of being from Trieste and having local partners and a carpentry shop a few kilometers from the Shipyard allowed the customer to make considerable savings regarding the transport of materials, staff travel and the accommodation. It also allowed us to be efficient and timely in solving all problems, even external to our activities, giving the customer a total service that developed day after day.

DK4 EMBARKATION AREA
Refurbishment (turn-key project)
Demolition of the floor (including redo / preparation of underlay) and ceiling, supply and installation of the new vinyl floor and skirting, re-skin of the walls with a new wallpaper for the upper parts and new plastic laminate for the lower parts. Supply and installation of the new ceiling cassettes and assemble of the new led lights. Supply of 4 cabinets with marble tops. Supply and installation of new curtains. Supply and installation of new lights and wooden profiles.
